Your Words

Matthew 24:35 (KJV) Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

Mouth of God

I was thinking about the power of God's spoken word and how important it is and should be in even our prayer life. "Mouth of God" came to me and I know the scripture that Yeshua (Jesus) spoke when He was tempted by Satan and we all have been in that position before, many of us binding Satan which is mentioned but with this it is God speaking it so more powerful to me. There was just this one verse with the exact phrase:

Matthew 4:4 (KJV) But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

So I then read the full paragraph with Yeshua's words in red:

Matthew 4:1-11 (KJV) Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil. And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungred. And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread. But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple, And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone. Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God. Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me. Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve. Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him.

We know that Yeshua (Jesus) did what He saw the Father do as stated in this verse:

John 5:19 (KJV) Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.

So to me Yeshua was doing what He saw the Father do and that was stating "it is written" to the devil is what was done. To me Yeshua was setting the example for us also to quote what Yeshua quoted to Satan. We desire the same outcome that the devil flee and ministering angels come to minister to us. So ponder these things.

Blessings to you

*Continually Word* *Continue Word*

You might wonder why so close the word searches I received today "continually word" then later hearing "continue word". I had originally heard just the one word, continually. I went to scriptures to check just the word continually and there were so many, I said in my head back to the Lord asking Him what continually? Then hearing "continually word".

I had first thing in the morning prayed to the Lord for different things like to give me direction, guidance, wisdom also asked Him if he had a word for me or for His people. I then started my day as I didn't hear at that moment. It was shortly there after I did as mentioned above hearing finally. There was just one verse for "continually word".

Acts 6:4 (KJV) But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word.

I saw the scripture and realized His disciples did this. We often don't think of prayer as doing anything for the Lord, but I believe this was a word of encouragement regarding prayer. The Lord knows me, now you might not be the same, but for me I want to hear out of the mouth of God as Yeshua (Jesus) said this:

Matthew 4:4 (KJV) But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

So this scripture I take to heart and the Lord knows that and I will mention the scripture back to Him. With that I was then given "continue word" and there was out of the mouth of God through Yeshua the scripture:

John 8:31 (KJV) Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;

I thank the Lord for the word and know for me He again wants me to hear/read the gospels again as well as continuing to pray for things I even see/read during the day. I usually see new things each time I go through the gospels. The scriptures that came to me I will go listen to again and that is the woman at the well John 4.

I pray any who read this and do go listen to the word hear new things.

Word Of God Speak

While just sitting I heard in my head "word of God speak" it was the Lord and the first thing that came to mind was a song called word of God speak by Mercy Me. I started to sing in my head part of the song but it had been ages since I had heard it. When I came back to my computer I brought up my Bible to type the words "word of God speak" in the search of my Bible software. I was surprised to find verses there were 3 from the prophets..

Isa 50:4 The Lord GOD hath given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him that is weary: he wakeneth morning by morning, he wakeneth mine ear to hear as the learned.

Jer 5:14 Wherefore thus saith the LORD God of hosts, Because ye speak this word, behold, I will make my words in thy mouth fire, and this people wood, and it shall devour them.

Jer 13:12 Therefore thou shalt speak unto them this word; Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Every bottle shall be filled with wine: and they shall say unto thee, Do we not certainly know that every bottle shall be filled with wine?

After reading I did then go to find the song and did listen to it, I just love the song.

We sometimes go through seasons when the Lord is quiet which had been the case for me, so I hadn't posted much in a while. I was thankful to hear today as I missed hearing and searching scriptures to hear the Lord further. All kinds of thoughts go through your head when the Lord gets quiet and you wonder why but is He just wanting to see what we will do. Do we stay in the word reading in our Bible and continue in prayer as before? I stayed in the word but missed being lead by the Lord. I hope todays words bless you and pray the song also blessed you.

Proverbs 3:6 (KJV) In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

God is the LORD

When I heard (in my mind) "God is the LORD" I thought Amen, then part of a scripture came to me. Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD. Thankful I am to be in the only country I know of who states Almighty God within USA, the preamble of the country. Also, many of the states within their preambles state Almighty God, God Almighty and God within each states preambles.

I put the exact phrase "God is the LORD" in my Bible software program and there were 3 scriptures:

Ps 33:12 Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance.

Ps 118:27 God is the LORD, which hath shewed us light: bind the sacrifice with cords, even unto the horns of the altar.

Ps 144:15 Happy is that people, that is in such a case: yea, happy is that people, whose God is the LORD.

Here when I saw the first verse the one that came to my mind, I had forgotten the last part of it. When I read it "and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance", I was like wow I never thought about us being an inheritance of God's. It was almost if the nation chose Almighty God which we the USA and states did, that God would claim us as his inheritance.

I hope you are searching scriptures with any words you hear that pop into your mind. It is great to see what the Lord has to say about things.

Turtle

Turtle is a strange word but part of my asking the Lord, and here is in scripture in two spots I found out. This was not a word given to me from the Lord. I talk to the Lord every day and in scripture usually many times a day, I just don't type all or share the different questions I ask the Lord as I do this a lot. Also, with posting this word just to let you know what I do when I see things I feel are given me by the Lord. I have walked a long time and it has changed and grown over the years.

I will share a bit more about this on my other site and link it when I get it written. For now, there were just two scriptures that had the word turtle in it.

Song of Solomon 2:12 (KJV) The flowers appear on the earth; the time of the singing of birds is come, and the voice of the turtle is heard in our land;

Jeremiah 8:7 (KJV) Yea, the stork in the heaven knoweth her appointed times; and the turtle and the crane and the swallow observe the time of their coming; but my people know not the judgment of the LORD.

I then looked up the Hebrew meaning of the word turtle

"probably the same as H8447; a ring-dove, often (figuratively) as a term of endearment:—(turtle) dove. (feminine noun)

When I saw the picture of the turtle, of course what popped into my mind and I sang:

"Two trutledoves and a partrige in a pear tree" hahaha so it made me think about times of Christmas. Then looking up the word in Hebrew saw the turtledove. So I was really surprised. So even picture answers I do get are tied to my looking up in the word when it has to do with something I ask the Lord.

Live Life

Interesting when those words came to me, I thought about people and their daily full schedules, especially with word and raising a family. I thought we do live life or is it life we live? haha So I entered it in and saw then the gospels Live Life was twice in the book of John.

John 6:51 I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.

John 11:25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:

Of course I do believe in Yeshua (Jesus) so this was a great thing to hear where living and life are concerned.  We need to think daily about all He has done for us and it tends to with busy lives to get set aside.  Have a blessed day!

Seek The Lord

"seek the Lord"  the exact phrase is only in scripture 27 times.  This verse more stood out to me as a future event:

Zechariah 8:22 (KJV) Yea, many people and strong nations shall come to seek the LORD of hosts in Jerusalem, and to pray before the LORD.

To my knowledge and what I am able to find only President Trump has gone to the Wailing Wall to pray.  I would expect many other nations for this to happen, and I was not able to find any in my internet search.

Stayed

I chose the word Stayed of course Isaiah the verse

Isaiah 26:3 (KJV) Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.

What had happened is I was stayed as in focused on Hosea 2

Hosea 2:19 (KJV) And I will betroth thee unto me for ever; yea, I will betroth thee unto me in righteousness, and in judgment, and in lovingkindness, and in mercies.

I desired to know who this was as it stood out with the for ever thing.  I will explain it on daily walk what I found.

For Ever

I had done a couple searches this morning but these words "for ever" and there were just so many I jumped to the prophets and this verse really grabbed me in Hosea 2:

19 And I will betroth thee unto me for ever; yea, I will betroth thee unto me in righteousness, and in judgment, and in lovingkindness, and in mercies.

From there I then went to do my daily time and did listen to the chapter. Scroll the huge list see if a verse jumps out at you. Have a blessed day.

Blessed

Hearing the word Blessed immediately what came to mind were what are termed the "Be Attitudes" so I went to Matthew chapter 5:1-12 .

Matthew 5:1-12 (KJV) And seeing the multitudes, he went up into a mountain: and when he was set, his disciples came unto him: And he opened his mouth, and taught them, saying, Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted. Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth. Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy. Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God. Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God. Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

I went then to look up the meaning of the word:

μακάριος makários, mak-ar'-ee-os

a prolonged form of the poetical μάκαρ mákar (meaning the same); supremely blest; by extension, fortunate, well off:—blessed, happy(× -ier).

I then wondered if we should be able to spot these people?  So went then to my bible study at Daily walk with the Lord on the menu.

wait on the LORD

wait on the LORD I had just heard, but was wondering when I would get more about sheep vs disciple. So I will wait. Well there were just 3 verses with that exact phrase:

Ps 27:14 Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.
Ps 37:34 Wait on the LORD, and keep his way, and he shall exalt thee to inherit the land: when the wicked are cut off, thou shalt see it.
Pr 20:22 Say not thou, I will recompense evil; but wait on the LORD, and he shall save thee.

I was reminded though this morning, reminded from Father defending us on a particular occasion. I was given the words vengeance is mine, this of course was a reminder of the Lord defending us and preventing harm to any others. I did go write the story about it on vengeance is mine witness naming it that title.

Benefits

The word I was reminded of was "benefits" which I had gotten yesterday but did not post it so it was brought to mind again today. There were only 3 verses so I will post them:

Ps 68:19 Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah.

Ps 103:2 Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:

Ps 116:12 What shall I render unto the LORD for all his benefits toward me?

The Lord was reminding me to keep typing on my other blog as I did put a new category I called "wonders - awe" as the things that would happen I was just in awe of the Lord with. They will be part of my testimonies site listed in the menu.

Search

Todays word is Search and there were lots of scriptures. I check the gospels first for words of Jesus and this verse stood out to me:

John 5:39 Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.

The scriptures do testify of Him. The books I try to stay in we are told to really Jesus did tell us:

Luke 24:44 (KJV) And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.

I work backwards in the fact that from the gospels I will usually scroll then the prophets.. Psalms.. then the Law just looking for out of the mouth of God. There were other words for me, as I am working through some research regarding a subject of sheep vs disciple. I did then go to listening to some scripture.

Desert

This morning the word was Desert and it reminded me of another testimony I needed to write. So I wrote about that first but did scroll the list and even the first verse was about a post on the forum regarding the sheep of the Lord. I posted a quick reply from just secular searches I had done yesterday then went and posted the testimony the Lord brought to my mindChild Lost in desert heat life and death . The verse very first verse took me to the forum and I do plan to question and put the verse but there were others that jumped out to me also. The first verse re flock:

Exodus 3:1 (KJV) Now Moses kept the flock of Jethro his father in law, the priest of Midian: and he led the flock to the backside of the desert, and came to the mountain of God, even to Horeb.:

What stood out to me was backside of desert so I ask the Father if He has a meaning for this in how to feed the sheep?  I will wait to hear from the Lord.

The other scripture was one I recognized that the Lord had given me to pray a couple years ago ... I will write about that.

I did get my page written.. the other desert verse jumping out at me was: Isaiah 43:19 (KJV) Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.

I wrote about what had happened when the Lord gave me scripture to pray. Court room of Almighty God

I still have not heard yet so am still waiting on the Lord will finish then whenever it is.

To Be Continued

Hope Lord

This morning as normal I played some worship music and asked the Lord if He had a word for me this morning. Silence and kept listening to worship praise the Lord. So I wanted to give the Lord some verses from me to Him and knew how to find them with the hope Lord. So all the Psalms fit as I did read them for how I feel about you Father, is what I said in my heart and mind to Him.

The Lord moves in mysterious ways

Don't get bothered if you are not given a word... go do word searches for yourself see what happens. I did other searching with 2 word but still hadn't heard from the Lord as I will. I noticed something in a couple other searches different words scrolling through the list, but one scripture appeared in both searches. That stood out to me and thought it to the Lord seeing it again. Just saying in my mind to Him, well that was twice so will set that scripture out and then just go on about my day. The scripture was in 1 Peter:

1 Peter 3:15 (KJV) But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:

Again I waited and didn't write anything, there could be days I am not given a word, but I stay in scripture and A Daily Walk With The Lord and should eventually write on that every day as I am in the word with Him. I did not write though was waiting on the Lord and went to a Christian forum I go to, to see what was happening. There a post where the verse from 1 Peter was where I posted today in a reply. Don't be surprised if you use something of the Lord in your day, you will find it happens.

Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. Matthew 22:37 (KJV)

Growth

After a bit of worship I heard the word Growth well there is just one verse:

Amos 7:1 (KJV) Thus hath the Lord GOD shewed unto me; and, behold, he formed grasshoppers in the beginning of the shooting up of the latter growth; and, lo, it was the latter growth after the king's mowings.

I didn't understand the verse and how the Lord meant it so I said: Father I don't understand, please give me a second witness. So I then wait to hear again from the Lord. Others might have a verse like that, ask Father for another witness to understand. To me Jesus is the king.

I went over to then my time with the Lord in the word and posted there: Receive Sight

Father did give me another word so I knew for myself what He was wanting... minister. I know what it means for me but you see if there is anything that makes sense to you in the word. Father might say something for you and not for me by scrolling the scriptures. All God's children are different and He will speak to people different but to hear, be in the word OK?

I was led to read the first 3 verses of Amos 7, so for me Father also was giving me direction to pray again for the JW's and the Muslims that He had given me heart for a couple years ago.

Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. Matthew 22:37 (KJV)

*Joy Lord* *Sing Praise*

I was given a set of two words twice this morning. What do I mean by that? Well I heard (popped in my mind) Joy Lord so I went and looked it up. On my bible software you can set it for exact phrase meaning those two words are together, which will narrow down a search. That was not the case with these two words so I scanned the scriptures and of course the Psalms are what jumped out to me. King David loved the Lord and praised a lot, we have all those in the Psalms. When done reading again Father popped two more words this morning to my mind. The next two Sing Praise I entered into Biblegateway.com and to get it to check for the word phrase together you put the words in quotes for the search so looked like this: "sing praise" for my search. Again lots of Psalms verses.

After reading and pondering just a bit the Lord said popping three words to my mind "worship the Lord", well that was not only a message for me, as I had gotten away from my worship music and He wanted me back into them again. So I seeing again the Psalms did go out and put some worship music on. It was also giving me direction for my other blog wanting me to add worship to it, so will also do as directed there. Now I am in my 70's have walked with the Lord really all my life so I know from hearing how I was being directed of the Lord. You all can get to the same place or maybe already hear the Lord. This is how He and I communicate, after many years of being in the word and worship music was on in the house most the day when I was a young stay at home mom.  I decided also as the Lord will do this to me, give me words that if I type them into youtube there will be a song named just what he said.  So I typed in "worship the Lord"  There was a song they titled that haha I just love Him..

The next song up was one of my favorites that I know:

After posting the above I had shopping to do... anyway when I was re-reading things the Lord gave me another word: benefits, so I wanted to quick add it here as they again were Psalms.

Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. Matthew 22:37 (KJV)

Life Death

Word For Today

I wasn't surprised to hear those two words this morning, as I had be typing my testimonies regarding life and death situations that had happened twice in my life. So I wrote my testimonies LIFE AND DEATH TESTIMONIES on one of my other blogs. It also when I looked up to search scriptures was fitting for even another blog, the Lord is good. The scripture that jumped out at me was in the gospels Life Death in the book of John:

John 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

I love also hearing the word of God and those reading this are hearing it also just as I am typing. One thing great is you never get tired of hearing the word of the Lord.  I pray you have a blessed day.

Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. Matthew 22:37 (KJV)

Joy Peace

Joy and Peace (was my words for today)

Thank you Father for your words today! This morning I heard (popped into my mind) joy peace, so I entered my two words into my bible search and scan the scriptures. Joy Peace All the scriptures I read as I scrolled but the verse that jumped out to me was the verse in Isaiah. You might have a different verse jump out to you. What do I mean by jump out at me? Being drawn to read a particular verse over and over and over. Because of being in the word for so many years I knew most the others by heart anyway. So I was drawn to Isaiah. The Lord uses the book of Isaiah to speak to me often.

I have been working on a couple of websites for looks and to get them setup for a picture I have in mind. I use blogspot as it is free, but the thing I liked about blogspot is they forever leave up your blog. So even when I go home to be with the Lord the record of my following Messiah Yeshua Jesus will remain. My hope is that it might help someone to hunger and thirst for a relationship for themselves with the Lord. I would encourage all Christians to share their time with the Lord, as like a record of growing in Love and knowledge of the Lord. Each child learns different and hears different so in growing in the Lord you will trust His words to come to you in your mind when you need to hear from the Lord.

Isaiah 55:12 (KJV) For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.

Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. Matthew 22:37 (KJV)

Disciple vs Sheep

I thought this might be an interesting topic and see different opinions.

To me where to start is in reading the 4 Gospels, I would start in the book of John.  To me you can't know Jesus till you read His words you can't depend on just hearing other people. Then He will bring them to your remembrance.

What would you tell a New Christian as to where to start and what the goal is?
The goal of disciple?

Matthew 16:24 (KJV)  Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.

The goal of a sheep with the Lord as only shepherd to personally hear Him?

John 10:27 (KJV)  My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:

Is there a difference between being a sheep and being a disciple?
What means: disciple? vs being a sheep?
Do sheep have eternal life?  or do you have to be a disciple?
