For Ever

I had done a couple searches this morning but these words "for ever" and there were just so many I jumped to the prophets and this verse really grabbed me in Hosea 2:

19 And I will betroth thee unto me for ever; yea, I will betroth thee unto me in righteousness, and in judgment, and in lovingkindness, and in mercies.

From there I then went to do my daily time and did listen to the chapter. Scroll the huge list see if a verse jumps out at you. Have a blessed day.

Blessed

Hearing the word Blessed immediately what came to mind were what are termed the "Be Attitudes" so I went to Matthew chapter 5:1-12 .

Matthew 5:1-12 (KJV) And seeing the multitudes, he went up into a mountain: and when he was set, his disciples came unto him: And he opened his mouth, and taught them, saying, Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted. Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth. Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy. Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God. Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God. Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

I went then to look up the meaning of the word:

μακάριος makários, mak-ar'-ee-os

a prolonged form of the poetical μάκαρ mákar (meaning the same); supremely blest; by extension, fortunate, well off:—blessed, happy(× -ier).

I then wondered if we should be able to spot these people?  So went then to my bible study at Daily walk with the Lord on the menu.

wait on the LORD

wait on the LORD I had just heard, but was wondering when I would get more about sheep vs disciple. So I will wait. Well there were just 3 verses with that exact phrase:

Ps 27:14 Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.
Ps 37:34 Wait on the LORD, and keep his way, and he shall exalt thee to inherit the land: when the wicked are cut off, thou shalt see it.
Pr 20:22 Say not thou, I will recompense evil; but wait on the LORD, and he shall save thee.

I was reminded though this morning, reminded from Father defending us on a particular occasion. I was given the words vengeance is mine, this of course was a reminder of the Lord defending us and preventing harm to any others. I did go write the story about it on vengeance is mine witness naming it that title.

Benefits

The word I was reminded of was "benefits" which I had gotten yesterday but did not post it so it was brought to mind again today. There were only 3 verses so I will post them:

Ps 68:19 Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah.

Ps 103:2 Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:

Ps 116:12 What shall I render unto the LORD for all his benefits toward me?

The Lord was reminding me to keep typing on my other blog as I did put a new category I called "wonders - awe" as the things that would happen I was just in awe of the Lord with. They will be part of my testimonies site listed in the menu.
